Good question. I guess there is no incentive unless there is salt on the roads or pollen in the air.

Why doesn't the Christmas rush pertain to car washes? Cars are used to go Christmas shopping.

I suppose it is not too helpful if a car becomes dirty just after a wash or looks clean before a driver decides to participate.
