Starting and running a business is not the cake walk some envision it to be. You can't be an 'absentee owner' and expect to win. I started my own business in a small town and everyone predicted it would fail. We thrived beyond my wildest dreams. I started it with $5000 and sold it for $95,000 plus inventory five years later.
I don't know the car wash world, but I'm sure your father could write a book about it.
