Autonomy (A Mermaid Chronicle)

Autonomy Alpha thoughts and a constitutional life are not of the mermaid's realm. She gently sways with the cold, the pain and the loneliness of the winter sea. She witnesses so much determination and angst. She identifies with the humans, but as much as she tries she will never be "just like them." It is not for her to decide.
