Beautiful Sadness
Things from the darkness, they recede as the sunlight spills over the bay. It's the night that bears truth that instigates fear and opposition and the mares that trample their black velvet hooves upon an embellished landscape deep in your mind, as you lay sleeping. The dawn chases them down and a rider dismounts and strides across the ocean to the shore of my waking horizon.
