Contemplations (Mermaid Chronicle)

Queen of Hearts ~ Black, Red and White Art

This is a very special piece to me, the last one I completed in 2008. Black Diamond Shimmering Sparkles Across the sand Two white horse gallop Across the low tide band Met with snow white gulls above Such is the place she’s grown to love Upon a salmon and granite rock As the water laps the shore Warmer than normal the sun upon her back Dressed in black Protected from undesirable human conversation She waits and listens to no avail And without procrastination Moves on. About this Blog

The writing and some of the art you see in this blog will be part of my first published book coming this year, 2009, titled "Whispers of the Goddess". Whispers includes many of the works you see here. When it becomes available I will update my site, and if I am still here, I will of course update as well. My site is www.ladypegasus.com for those who are interested. I have several collections that I routinely add to, and rediscover in my journals for the past 10 years. The most prominent ones are "The Mermaid Chronicles" and "The Phantom Queen". I also have a manuscript for a book to help people have hope in their endeavors to quit smoking cigarettes.
