How to tamper with voting machines without even trying

It's a shame we don't subscribe to HBO - they're running a documentary on how easy it is to tamper with the computerized voting machines most precincts use nowadays. Sophisticated computer programmers - or even skilled hackers - can do the job without much effort, "stuffing the ballot box" using sophisticated computer skills rather than literally stuffing an actual ballot box with paper ballots. Ah, sweet misery of life, at last I've found thee!

I'm at that stage of this cold which is absolutely miserable - I'm just healthy enough to be bored with all that rest, yet I still feel the need to take it easy and not be as active. You should have seen me try to lift all that Halloween candy we bought and didn't use (because we had so few trick-or-treaters). Well, hello, Big Brother - nice to meet you!

On 11/1/2006, CNBC aired a special called Big Brother, Big Business (or something similar), about all the privacy invasions common in today's world. I can quote you one fairly common example, which came up in the course of the special. Most of us use Google to search for things on the Internet.
