The crazy lady strikes again for Wednesday, November 22, 2006

Well, we're still having problems with the smoke alarm. As I mentioned in previous entries, you can't even take a hot shower without the thing going off. We are all virtually deaf from the piercing noise. Because we haven't seen anyone available to fix the smoke alarm - they've all been busy putting up the outdoor Christmas decoration, and they have apparently completely forgotten that they promised to come over soon after I talked to them recently - I have written a letter to our village's... There are actually several inspirations for this post. One of them was the Spike O'Dell radio show on WGN-AM the day before Thanksgiving. He is an amateur chef, responsible for preparing his family's Thanksgiving meal every year. Well, this year, he decided to break down and roast the traditional turkey for Thanksgiving, although it was obvious that this is not his tradition; in fact, he made it clear by implication that he was getting a little sick of hearing The Food Network's emphasis on the...
