The Great Giveaway
On yesterday's show (aired 10/30/2006 in Chicago), Oprah ended her show by giving each individual in the audience a $1,000 debit card. There were two conditions: 1. Audience members had to spend the money on someone other than family members, preferably giving what they bought to charity; 2. Audience members also had to have someone else follow them around with some sort of video recording device, documenting that they'd fulfilled condition #1.
