what to write----is this another blog about nothing
He sauntered passed her where she sat on the step, pulling at her ponytail as he did. "So,what's up." Should she answer him or just ignore? If she ignored him he might just go away. Is that what she really wanted? Wendy furrowed her brow and stuck out her bottom lip. Her mind was a flurry of...

Why can't a woman be more like a man!
Something I just read at another site and I thought it would make a great blog. It could be a very long blog but I'll keep to only a few obvious facts. Why would a woman want to be more like a man? that was my first thought. To be chosen to be a mother, part of creation, to be a beloved daughter of...

Tom Ugly the book takes a first step.
I have emailed off a synopsis of my story "Tom Ugly" to a literary agent who finds you the publisher if they believe your work is worthy. They say they take no money until the book or story is published. Well, we shall see. I'm nervous but one must keep trying. At least this isn't Vanity publishing....

Listen won't you listen. Take a moment to hear.
Today was hair day for me. One of those great days when you toddle off and get the works done. It takes a couple of hours but the pampering and chatter are fun and good for the soul. I've found a clever hairdresser here and I am so happy. But that's OK anyway because I'm not trying to win any beauty...

Quaint Quebec City
I found Quebec City, the old city that is, Quaint and pretty. Beautiful architecture, very hilly terain with the St Lawrence river lapping at her edge. The river is surprisingly narrow along the city but then it widens really wide just beyond. As an Aussie I have never seen so many lakes or huge...

yesterday all promises were fulfilled
We have our doubts and scepticism as time goes on and nothing seems to happen that we have prayed for. Well me anyway. My Dad's middle name was Thomas and sometimes I wished he'd called me Thomasina. So here we have an update on yesterdays wonders. 1 This new lawyer is in touch with me daily at...

A day of new beginnings
This morning while we were eating our daily dose of roughage, I noticed something wonderful. A few days ago we pruned the famous Hibiscus bush that flowers inside all winter long. A few of the cuttings we popped into a jar, just for fun. Today a cutting flowered. It was so unexpected, so special...

Ariala set this blogger thinking!
Ariala wrote a post yesterday that really set an old 60's girl thinking. When to speak up for one's self when unwanted male attention is foisted onto you, and when to just let it go, or should it ever be let go. Back then, in the 60's the less radicals like myself were only interested in such...
