Nothing is garbage until you throw it away

My Seattle daughter sent me a set of fancy peelers for my birthday. My favorite is the one that juliennes carrots and other hard vegies. I like to make that lightly pickled carrot garnish that's used in some Asian cuisines, and this makes it so easy! I shred the carrots then let them bathe a while... Sign in to see full entry.
