Common and familiar doesn't make it correct.

And since when is 'alright' a word? 'Already' is a word. 'Almost' is a word. Alright' is not a word. It is 'all right' and means just that. 'Already' means something different from 'all ready' and 'all most' is just silly, and is not the same as 'almost.' It is not all right to use 'alright'... Sign in to see full entry.
