Being wealthy is not a crime
I don't begrudge people making high salaries: accumulated wealth is a special resource, but it is squandered when those who control it use it only for their own interests. Huge money can solve so many little problems, it can open up possibilities for people overburdened by debt, overwhelmed by illness, unable to pay the massive monies for advanced education... It can make a significant difference to a community that can't afford to supply its schools adequately, or pay its teachers a decent... Sign in to see full entry.
