Intimate Inchland

I call this the Niche Garden, a narrow space on the western side of the Great Castle, the largest of the three castles in this vicinity. This is a little grotto down on the eastern side of the Great Castle. You will recognize this berry plant from earlier pictures-- This is how it looks now, this spring, with its winter-worn leaves and new sprouts. I have been watching this for the past three years, and it grows very slowly, not at all like the rampant vines that range the area all around. Sign in to see full entry.

More Inchland Gardens

This garden is just left of the ones in the preceding post, and the next one is just left of this one-- you can see the same tall grey bit to the far right in the image below, as in the far left above. This garden is in another area altogether. Sign in to see full entry.

See the bit of leaf just left of center? Here it is, again: The leaf is about an inch long, and the largest mushroom is about 3/4 inch tall. Sign in to see full entry.

There are... Sign in to see full entry.

Inchland: Arches

Arches Palace is the largest of Inchland's Pixie castles. If you spend some quality time in Inchland, you will see that many of these images are different angles on the same location. I will be leaving some of them fairly large, so you can see them in good detail. Sign in to see full entry.

visiting Inchland

A couple of days ago, I visited Inchland again. In Inchland, a tourist not only arrives speaking the language, but is suddenly somewhere in the range of 1-3 inches tall, and the mind's eye sees creatures and races never imagined in this world. As long as you are in Inchland, you are part of it, and may find yourself caring about the folk you meet and the health of their gardens, and the joy of their dances, and risk of living in such a world, where so many things are large beyond managing. I... Sign in to see full entry.
