As promised, a ghost story
Some might call Murchie a ghost, but we call him the House Entity. Years ago, when we were keeping our first generation of fairly new kittens confined to the bathroom, with a small window open for the mom to come and go, and my girls were around 9 and 7, we drove off for a jaunt across town on an impulse, which, on my part, was connected with an odd and vague sense of urgency.
