All my life I have had a hard time with those situations of silence, of lack of response to what I have needed, have said, have done, have asked... The need for response has made me a bit crazy at times, and if it is the long on-going situation--a lot crazy. It has killed relationships of all kinds. It has made insurmountable walls between me and my feelings, me and people I needed too much in my life. Being stone-walled in an argument has infuriated me, even tempted me to violence. For years...
