Estes Park is just a little ways down from the eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, at about 7500 feet above sea-level. The skyline is spectacular, surrounding this cove in the mountains. Son Charlie and Dog Davy and I arrived in Colorado Springs yesterday after a fairly fine drive from the Northwest. San Ignacio is a small oasis in the desert in central Baja.
