A little background--

Some of you who read this already know this, but here's a quick review of the situation that has me en route halfway around the world: My daughter and her husband moved last month to live for the next 2 or 3 years in Singapore. I got shot in the arms today--

Four times, in fact: once for flu, once for polio, once for hepatitus A and once for typhoid. It wasn't so bad-- less than a bee sting that goes on hurting for a long time, then leaves a painful lump for a day or two. On the other hand, OUCH! Starting Out for Singapore

The flight information arrived today. They are for March 23-April 27. I'd better get packing! I will be flying west to the Far East, from Seattle to Tokyo (10 hours), Tokyo to Singapore (nearly 8 hours) I have put in my request for a north-side window, hoping for interesting views of Alaska all that...
