wind and rain!
I woke at 6 this morning when a particularly rough blast of wind shook the house. Houses here are built for this, so that was a pretty substantial hit! Then the rains came... Here is the first set of photos from New Zealand. The Maori rock carvings are accessible only by boat, so we took the trip from the wharf at Taupo, and rode gentle waves through mist and rain to these cliffs. On October 13, I flew from Seattle to Denver through a clear enough sky for some excellent views of the Earth below. Packing again...
Next Wednesday I'll be in the air on the way to Colorado and son Charlie: the 14th, he opens in The Taming of the Shrew and I will be there to see his debut!
