Dog park on a winter day

More and more communities are setting aside a bit or even a lot of land, fenced or not, for dogs to run off-leash. Oh, the lovely fishies!

Once upon a time, I had a collection of bettas. Sundown fires

Colorado has the most amazing clouds, and therefore, some of the most beautiful sunsets. The sky over the mountains to the west goes fiery, while the sky to the north and east is at the same time, soft and gentle, lush pastels.
