Very true

It's easy to let habits and accumulations of things become a huge part of your identity. When you travel around for a while, you really are faced with the you that gets neglected in times of too much comfort.

'Home is where all you keep your stuff' is probably the best definition of 'home' I've ever come across, LOL. Nice and unsentimental, and it really boils down to that in the end - a place to be among your things, as long as you're willing to leave occasionally, and remind both them and yourself you can do without them if necessary. But we can never do without any things - even the hermit has his cave, his bowl and his blanket...

Ciel, I was in my early 20's when I went, and I remember it well.

But nowadays I prefer to stay home.
