To the Awesome Staff @ Blogit

No Copy & Paste!

I was just wondering what you guys thought about putting some code in so you can not highlight, copy, and paste what we write, and share here at Blogit. Its not 100 Fullproof from somebody stealing your work, but its a huge deterent.

Clarification

How can you say Whammie's post today really could be seen as harrassment toward any one? The post had been rewritten three times, the subject matter was light in content.

If the vision of Blogit is to create a forum for writers or wanta be writers, your reason for her ban is not consistant with the vision. She is a fine writer, person and friend.

I can see where several people have cancelled their membership, please again, clarify how this fits into the vision as well. With  so many good writers gone, you will indeed be left with many wanta be's. This is a sad day, It is a defeat for those who still believe we write in a community where freedom of expression is encouraged.

Today's banning of Whammie should be a wake up call. Quite frankly, that call should be heard by all who enjoyed reading her and to those of us who know her personally, I can honestly say that my best friend meant no harm, no malice, no harrassment, nothing. She went above and beyond to insure this.

In all fairness, in all fairness everyone who matters will still be here

writing and the rest will be out doing something else. Now, let me get my beauty sleep...

(Chris, YOU tell 'em, I'm tired)

WE WANT WHAMMIE

In all fairness

We, the writers and readers of Blogit, are far more suited to make a judgement call concerning whether or not Whamenator should be banned.  We've all read your policy guidelines (and those that haven't have recently seen them copied and pasted in a various blogs on this topic) and we are familiar what is and isn't appropriate on this network.  Given Whammie's history, her character does not lead any of us to believe that she would knowingly violate any guidelines.  And if it was an accidental violation, she deserves a second chance.

We are the community, not you.  We respect you and are grateful for Blogit and the advantages it gives us in the writing field, but this is not a fair decision on your part.  Many people are stirred up (as you can see by browsing the blogs) and I'm not threatening you when I say this, I'm giving you fair warning:  You are making your bloggers, your community, your customers, very unhappy.

I ask on the behalf of all the other protesting bloggers as well as myself to reconsider this situation.

Why did you suspend Whammie???

Dammit!

She was one of the most popular people here, we loved her and her blogs.

She will be missed by many for sure!
