Just to say Hi

Hello Blogit community. I just wanted to stop in to the msg boards and introduce myself. I just started my blogit account just about an hour ago and so far I am very excited about getting to share my work with the world. I can honestly say I almost didn't do this but, well I decided I had spent more money on much worse things in my life than a one month subscription to something I would actually use. Tell you a little about my self, I am currently serving in Afghanistan with you United States Army. I have been here for 11 months, I am due to come home very soon. I like to write poetry lyrics and short stories. I also like to vent about subjects that get under my skin. So my blog is a combination of poetry/fiction and opinion. I think the real reason i started this is one I love to write and two I love for people to read and respond to me. My Blog is called Chapters of a Life, I named it that because in my personal journal that I have kept I hjave noticed that it has chapters to it. Now I am in the final chapter of this chapter of my life. Soon I will return back to the states and start a life with my wife. I hope you will check me out esspeacially if you like variety. I can be a very bipolar writer. Writing is my life and is what I want to do with my life. I hope you all here in our writer/reader community can help me pursue that dream.

Yours,

N.T.B.

into porn again

http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/iwantyour/

Some of you may remember that Billy Idol was almost killed in a motorcycle wreck about 10 years or so ago. When he recovered and was leaving the hospital months later, a reporter asked him if his life was changed at all by his accident.

He was misquoted as saying, "I've been born again." People briefly freaked out at the idea of one of rock's baddest boys suddenly using his powers for good. I imagine some speculated on what his version of Amazing Grace might sound like.

What he actually said was "I'm into porn again."

There's this happy place I've been trying to find for a while now. A place where erotic fiction is maybe in between the romance novel and the Penthouse Forum letter. A place where words like "manhood," or "tool," or "love muscle" are never used, and where there are no long haired heroes rescuing maidens with heaving breasts. A place that explores fantasy and fetish without going out on the fringe and making people feel guilty about getting turned on.

My new blog proably isn't that place. But I'm hoping that it might be on the way there. Check it out and let me know.

Blogit World project

I have an idea. Everyone either email me or go to my non-curmudgeon blog and tell me either where you are or the closest major city. I won't tally them up (to avoid the no-census taboo in Blogit), but I'd like to make a world map of where we are. One dot per location no matter how many or few are there, no differentiation by gender or any other demographic please. If you click my blog, I'll return a click to yours to "even it out" sort-of. (If I'm clicking on everyone it will dilute my clicks' worth). After one month I'll make the map then post it; no lists, and just a dot, not a city's or country's name. Oh, yes. Please don't spoof me, and include "Blogit World" in the subject line, or I'll de-spaminate ya! That is all. (;)>>

life on other blog planets...

Am just curious... do many of you have other blog providers whom you enjoy or do you think this is the best or most convenient? I saw so many on google.
