Thoughts of a Mad Man

Life has many mysteries, the answers are few.

Like a bird in a tree, their hidden from view.

answers like Butterflies, float in the air

Hesitate for a moment.... then disappear.

Okay Guys, This is really a serious issue.

I am a South African and I would like to know if anyone would like to add their names to this petition or if anyone over there can raise the issue with the media. Ideally, a world-wide outcry would force our government into action. I know you guys have a lot on your plates right now, but this is just wrong:

Last week a 3 year old girl (in Athlone) was beaten and raped. She is still alive. The man responsible has been released on bail yesterday. He is walking the streets ... Friends, if you are too busy to read this then just sign your name and forward this. The South African Government is planning to close the child protection unit and this is a petition against it!! This is a very important petition. It is an essential part of our justice system for children. You may have already heard that there's a myth in South Africa that having sex with a virgin will cure AIDS. The younger the virgin, the more potent the cure. This has led to an epidemic of rapes by infected males, with the correspondent infection of innocent kids. Many have died in these cruel rapes. Recently in Cape Town, a 9-month-old baby was raped by 6 men. The child abuse situation is now reaching catastrophic proportions and if we don't do something, then who will? Kindly add your name to the bottom of the list and please pass this on to as many people as you know.*

**If you are signature no.: 120 - please forward the mail-list to:*

*childprotectpca@saps.org.za*

Please don't be complacent, do something about the kids of South Africa. You can make a difference! That child is fighting for life.

This is just 1 of the million cases of child abuse, so please pledge your support and help keep CPU (CHILD PROTECTION UNIT) open.

Hello everyone!

My, the scene from Cheers just flashed through my mind; Diane Chambers always strutted confidently through the bar's door and greeted everyone with such zeal and high expectations...

I'm new to Blog It, and I feel the same sense of excitement and expectation that Diane must have felt when she entered Cheers...Blog It is such a refreshing concept for a writer, and I thank its founder for its creation.

I'm eager to read your blogs, your opinions, and have you read mine. I'm a published author; I wrote The Night Shift Worker, and likely you've never heard of it because my publisher, Adventure Books, bit the dust. That left me feeling a bit orphaned, but I've recovered enough to return to writing, so I'm thrilled to find Blog It. What a wonderful way to get my feet wet again!

I'm also a Christian and a Gospel singer, and I adore animals, so I'll be posting about the Lord and his critters and whatever else needs to be said.

I'll be honored each time you read my writing, and I'll happily read yours, so until I speak with you again, so long everyone, and God richly bless you!

Yes .. finally I am out of my closet .. I AM A MALE HETEROSEXUAL

I have finally come out of the closet after years of hiding my sexuality due to the withering effects of feminism, political correctness, media bias and madness.I have dared to emerge as my true self and revel in the freedom to announce to the world that I am HETEROSEXUAL.  Yes! You may gasp that I enjoy sex  with Women. I am indeed a male lesbian. It is not a power trip, it has nothing to do with control. I ENJOY SEX WITH WOMEN.  Unfortunately there is no label I can adopt (like Gay or Dike) and perhaps there is a need for such a label so that my proclamation can be displayed on a T-shirt or Car. So we need a competition for the best single word name for male heterosexuals (e.g. Cool .. like 'I'm Cool'). Any good suggestions???

WHAT TIME IS IT ANYWAYS?

You know, for us non-USA people here in Australia, for example, it would be great to have a USA time clock on the the screen somewhere like at the top bar thingy whatever it's called. 'Cause I'm always trying to do the time conversion...and maths is not my strong point, especiallay at midnight!!! Just a suggestion.

Hey,

I like to skip across Blogit clicking on random blogs to see if I can dig up a buried treasure. Still, I've noticed that however unbiased you are, the blogs that come up are inevitably the most popular. My experience is that popular does not necessarily mean good. The thing that is most important for popularity is the amount of comments that are given out by the said person, and the number of updates, i.e. the amount of time spent on Blogit.

So how about this: A Buried Treasure link, that gives you one completely random blog every time you click on it, up at the top where you can click it every time you want a new blog to look at (without clicking back to the homepage first). It might be a little bit of a step up for those with less time to spend on Blogit at least, as well as being a highly amusing way of getting something new whenever you want it.

JUST A THOUGHT.

IN REGARDS TO HOW THE POPULARITY RANKINGS WORK, WHY NOT RANK THE BLOGS WITHIN THIER PRESPECTIVE CATAGORIES? i.e. FICTION IS DIFFERNT FROM POETERY, OR SPORTS, OR TRAVEL EACH CATAGORY HAS IT'S OWN UNIQUE CHARTER, AND AUDIENCE,

YES MANY READERS HAVE MULTIPLE INTEREST, BUT IF MANY READERS LIKE ONLY ONE CATAGORY FOR EXAMPLE, AND GRAVITATED TOWARDS THAT, AND NEVER TO ANYTHING ELSE, THEN THAT AFFECTS THE OVER ALL NUMBERS FOR ALL THE OTHER CATAGORIES.

ONE FORMAT SUGGESTION WOULD BE  'POPULARITY RANKING #1 IN 901 IN SPORTS, OR #901 IN 901 IN SPORTS: THEN THE OVERALL RANKING AS IT STANDS IN THE ENTIRE SITE, SUCH AS #3,001 OF 20,001 BLOGS POSTED.

PLEASE POST BACK YOUR OPINIONS AND, COMMENTS ABOUT THIS SUGGESTION.

QUICK QUESTION: YES, OR NO:

DO YOU THINK THAT BLOGIT SHOULD ADD A CHILDREN'S CATAGORY THE SAME WAY THEY HAVE SPORTS, FICTION, TRAVEL, OPINION, ECT.?
