that agree that "Robert" was being unreasonable and vague and our beloved Whamster (and others subjected to subjective and undefined interpretations of the rules) be afforded a second chance, with better detailed versions of the Rules here, believe that Whammie, and others that are held acccountable to such ambiguity are allowed a Probabtionary Return Period, whereupon they can prove that they did not intentionally violate the rules, and that they are not only valued, but also very productive members of the Blogitville Community!
The overall consensus seems to be to reinstate Whammie, and to add greater clarification to your policies. She modified her behavior according to the rules you presented to her! Because her interpretation was not Robert's intrepretation of ambiguous rules, Whammie was ousted? Maybe Robert needs to be ousted, or maybe the rules need to be more well defined, but Whammie deserves a second chance, and she is well-loved! Please bless us all with another chance, the Powers that Rule Blogit?!

Shaycom,
Okay, I have a suggestion. In the case of violations, be specific in citing the violation, rather than just offering the vague, subjective language of Policy. Cite the violation in specifics. So long as you continue to be vague, then I think a reinstatement with a Probationary Period is in order, at which time you are more specific in the nature of the violation.
It is shameful when you see hundreds of people here doing the same things; yet, it is permissable for some, and leads others to get banished. You need to be more consistent, but if you rigidly enforced the rules, at least half of our members would find themselves out the door!

Please see our Community Help post on this subject. We've included a link in that post for the process we follow in dealing with Blogit Policy violations.
If you have feedback on how to improve the process, please let us have specific feedback. Over the years we have continued to modify and improve the process for dealing with Blogit Policy violations.
Thank you.
