I caught the cleaning bug...

This morning I went to a coffee shop with my husband before my house cleaning job. After that I went to pick Lynn up so, as we were going to drive together to clean her mom's house. Fog made driving a little dangerous, so I went slow. Lynn's mom's house looked much better when we were done. We ended up only working 2 1/2 hours, as her mom needed a nap. It looks like I will be cleaning there again in a couple of weeks. Any work I get right now is a blessing. Hopefully we'll pick up some more... Sign in to see full entry.

Robert Park released -

The newest update on Robert Park: He is in Beijing and on his way to California where his family live. My daughter just called from Mexico and saw it on the news. I looked it up and here's a you-tube. He looks so defeated and sad. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. Gymnastic competition

Tonight I went to a gymnastics competition. It was within the team for practice. There were about 7 girls competing in level 5 and only 1 girl in level 6. My favorite was the floor routine with music. Most of the girls could do triple back flips. It is amazing to see what someone can do with discipline and training! My 13 year old daughter just made the team, but will not be competing for some time. I cleaned 2 houses today. Tomorrow I will be helping one of my clients clean her mom's "very... North Korea says they will release Robert Park

For those who have been reading about Robert Park, it seems he will be released because he "confessed" and repented of his wrongdoing. Either it was a false confession, done under duress, or they completely broke his mind and spirit. I hope that he did not "break down". Please continue to pray for him. Creative meals at home...

I've been working very hard at making better meals at home. I am the type of person who can forget to eat, or forget to cook, or wait too long then we eat too late. This month I have been trying very hard to improve. I've gotten a few compliments from my sons and that makes it worth the extra effort. Even though I have been a mom for many years cooking 3 meals a day never came easy. I know how important it is, so I really want this area of my life to change. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
