Cockroaches, Scorpions, Sting-ray and Jellyfish

I have a minute to write, so I'd better take advantage of it. Just got off skype (text only) with my son "Bob". He said he bought an exotic baby cockroach at a pet store. In Mexico, I probably have killed hundreds of them over the years, using my flip-flop or shoe. I don't even flinch when I see one. We don't have them here in the dry side of Oregon. A new day

I was able to get up at 5:40 to take a shower before work. It woke me up, along with the coffee, and I actually feel rested. Work went well and I am getting along with Sandy, the lady at work who I have had some conflict with. I am trying to do extra things so she knows I am trying to do a good job. Today I offered to take the recycle out for her. I don't want to brag, (maybe I am?) but what I am trying to do is everything on my part to be part of the answer instead of the problem. I probably... In the battle

Today my daughters gymnastic coach asked me how the battle was going? I replied, "It's been a battle since 2010". It has not been easy to realize that the money I thought was returned to me by our credit card services is only temporary. That is...unless I can write a letter concerning the rebuttal the company in question has sent them. Got scammed lately?

I did in December but am too embarrassed to talk about it. I am too gullible for my own good. The credit card services credited my account, but today I got a letter of rebuttal from the company I got scammed by. So now I need to write a letter with more information or we will be charged again for the dollars we were credited. Hopefully I can write a letter that is accurate, with enough information that we don't lose our money. If not, well I guess I (finally?) learned my lesson! Sign in to see full entry.

Healing is beginning...

I slept in till 9:00. After that I trimmed Greg's hair a tiny bit & then we all went to church. I was encouraged and when I got home I decided to call my son. I was able to talk to him and admit to what I had done that was wrong and also say that some of the things he said about me were not true. I felt a great burden had lifted. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
