50% chance we may get a horse...?

Today I brought my 10 year old to work. When I first walked in the 1st house I clean, I was shocked, as ALL the clutter was gone. Everything looked so nice that I wasn't sure I should even clean it. But after looking around more, I saw the floor needed dust mopping and the carpet also needed vacuuming. I ended up working my 2 hours. My daughter dusted and sprayed the toilets with the natural germ killer I use. It's supposed to sit for 15 minutes to kill everything, so I do that first. The second... Sign in to see full entry.

My 10 year old daughter made an apple pie!

This evening my 17 year old son helped me with my 2 office cleaning jobs. I was very glad about that, as I have been quite tired the last few days. It was also encouraging having him work with me. When we got home dinner was waiting. My 10 year old daughter made most of it. She even made an apple pie, using a recipe she found. I was quite impressed. Free throw contest

I didn't have time to write yesterday. Today I was very tired all day. I even took a long nap and woke up tired again. I had already decided to do the basketball free throw contest at 4:00, so didn't want to back out because of the way I felt. We got there late (4:10) but they didn't have anyone free to check our free throws till 5:00. That gave me a little time to practice. I ended up getting 8 out of 25. A very nice day...

I only have a minute to write, as it is late. That seems to be the only time I have time to write lately. We had a very eventful day with my son and daughter-in-law and grandson here. I baked chicken and potatoes and bought a pre-made organic salad. Somehow the apples wanted to be made into apple pie and somehow I was able to do that. On one pie I left the peelings to see if it is edible or not. We haven't eaten that one, so I don't know if any one will like it. It's a rainy day, so we all... Sign in to see full entry.

Exercising and plans for tomorrow...

Our 2 girls and 1 son helped with the cleaning of 2 different businesses today. My husband had a job, trimming a tree for a friend with our other son. All went well and I took the ones that helped me to Subway for lunch when we were done. I am the only one home now, as the rest went to the athletic club. I am too tired and have had 3 good days of exercise this week. Last night we all went to the club. I did the bicycle for 10 minutes, shot baskets for 30, swam 8 lengths (rested after each one)... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
