Shopping Trip and Trivia of the Day

I just got back from a shopping trip to the "bigger city" with my husband. He bought some special tubing that will go under the cement floor in our basement. Water from a wood stove will pass through the tubing to heat the cement floor. It should work well. My feet have been hurting, so this morning I looked at good walking/athletic shoes locally. A house full of children today!

Today is quite interesting. After church 2 boys at church wanted to come hang out with our 2 boys. I said it was OK. Then 2 girls wanted to come to hang out with our girls. So we packed all 9 of us in the mini van and drove to our house, less than a mile away. They have been having fun going to the park next door and playing board games. I made chocolate chip cookies. Cleaning and Family Day

A very full day. First thing Greg and I went to Starbucks at Safeway for coffee. We had a nice visit to start the day out with. After that I went to Lynns' house, one lady I clean for. Today we planned to go to her moms' 17 miles out of town to clean her house together. She warned me it was very dirty and she was right. But, I don't mind cleaning very dirty houses, because the difference can be seen quite easily afterwards. In 5 hours all I did was clean 2 bathrooms, vacuum the living room and... More work coming up in April

I'm going to a basketball game with my husband in a few minutes. First time in years. I went to my new cleaning job to apologize for bumping the cord on the computer, causing it to come unplugged. He said it was fine, no problem. Then he told me how to unlock and lock the doors. I cleaned 2 houses today. One lady left the money on the counter (but she forgot to pay for last week). It all worked out, as later she called me to discuss cleaning her mom's house tomorrow. I am going to get a receipt... Sign in to see full entry.

New Job

I just got off work. I cleaned the doctors' offices tonight for 2 hours. This morning I cleaned there also. If I clean on Thursday afternoon then I don't have to go in on Monday. After that job, I went to the new job that is in the same building on the 3rd floor. There are 3 different rooms that I cleaned for the Internet server. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
