Housecleaning job: 1. Cleaned cat litter box 2. vacuumed 3. cleaned 2 bathrooms 4. mopped 5. washed curtains 6. washed 2 sets of mini-blinds 7. washed 2 windows inside and out 8. watched the FOX news about earthquake in Chile and predicted tsunami in Hawaii while working 9. An evening shopping trip...

It's late. My husband and 10 year old daughter and I just got back from an evening shopping trip. It was the next town over, where they have a Mexican store with a lot of discounted food. Even though it "looked" like a Mexican store, it still did not feel like we were in Mexico. I think we were the only white faces there also. It was very clean and in Mexico most of the stores are not. Everything was organized well and it was too quiet and not enough people. But, I am thankful to have gone and... More on the country drive ...

The drive to the country went well yesterday. I really like the horse too. My friend and I caught her. After that I lead her around, brushed her and put the bridle on her. I was warned that she is "green broke" and sometimes she doesn't want to go no matter how hard you kick her. That was the case. I gave her a little swat on the rear and hoped she wouldn't buck. She then acted OK. I can tell she needs training, but I think she would be a good match if we get her. She reminds me of my horse... Sign in to see full entry.

A drive to the country...

I haven't felt much like writing lately. I did finish 2 books in less than 2 weeks, which is something I've been wanting to do for a long time. I am leaving now to the country to bring some tools to my husband, as he is putting up a fence. That's also where the horse we may get is. I want to check it out to make sure it's not too wild for me and I feel it would be workable. I think I'll take our camera and maybe the sun will shine for a minute so I can get some good shots! About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
