What's been going on lately...

I have been feeling well and energetic mostly. But, today I felt like I needed a nap, but no time to take one. I'll just get to bed by 9:00 and be OK. We have all been quite busy here. Susannah with her online school, Clemy with home school and church activities, Gideon with his GED, tests and now editing a movie. My camera arrived about a week ago. Random

I'm quite tired. I have to leave in 5 minutes to pick my 2 kids up from the athletic club. I am waiting for the cut on my elbow to heal before I go swimming. I cut it rollerskating last Wednesday. It's healing great, but still is sore and when I bump it. Today I helped my 14 year old daughter with her Spanish class. She ended up getting a 75%, because she was using verb forms they hadn't learned yet. Even though she knows Spanish, to understand just what they want isn't always as easy. I was... Painting and writing

As usual I've been busy. On the days I haven't been, I've been enjoying it. Last Friday I didn't work in the day. I am very glad I made the decision to give those 2 cleaning jobs to a friend. I may do them again later if I need to, or if she can't do them. The last 3 Sundays I started painting. I've done 2 that I like. I do like the others, but they are all abstract and quite different. Random events of the day

Here I am trying to type with puppy on my lap! The puppy is cute, but needs (wants) attention. I've already taught her to fetch (sort of). When I was a kid I always wanted a dog that fetched, but ours wouldn't. I've spent a lot of time today looking around on the internet for a good digital SLR camera. I am looking forward to getting one and start taking photos again. I think I've found the one I want, but need to pass it by my husband first. The Nanowrimo one month novel write is coming up. I... Just checking in...

I fought a headache most of the day. It wasn't a migraine, but still not good. Now, I am temporarily relieved by medicine, so I will check in. I was able to rest today, despite the headache. I am seriously considering quitting 2 of my housecleaning accounts, on Friday. I have a lady I trust who can do them and she would be willing to let me work again if I want to do the jobs later. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
