Remodeling

We returned from our trip last night. Today has been crazy. It's actually pretty normal, except my son has been sanding on the floors all day in our living room. They put a filler in between all the cracks, because they put it on the floor too, it has been a pain for them to get it off now! The sanding is almost finished I believe. Our bedroom has only one entrance, the living room, therefore we will have to move out until the floor is finished. Clemy had piano lessons at her sister-in-laws'... Sign in to see full entry.

Checking in...

I'm checking in for a minute. I am fighting a headache today. I am pretty sure that I'm fighting a sinus-infection. I used to get them after a bad cold. Greg said I should take some antibiotics, but I'm trying Vitamin C first and lots of water. Today we decided to paint our small living room and pull up the old carpet. The wall color is sort of tan, paint we used in the basement. We painted one wall a green color. We also had that color, but the paint store darkened it some. We will be painting... 5 minutes to write

Seriously, that's all I have tonight. I bought a cheap old 35 mm film camera for 75 cents. Today I removed the lens. That lens was so tough, I didn't think I'd ever get it out! I finally did, feeling a bit guilty for removing the "eye" of the camera. I don't have a proper pin-hole lens yet. I made one out of tin-foil, because I'm impatient. Recent happenings and thoughts...

My eyes are getting sleepy. I finally have had (made) some time to be on blogit. Tonight my 11 year old daughter helped me clean one business. We were going to clean two, but I decided it was too late and I was too tired. I have a friend who cleaned two of the houses I usually clean today. I thought that would give me several hours to rest, but it seemed the "free" time evaporated. I did clean one house this morning, and am VERY thankful that my friend cleaned the other two houses. I'm back (for today anyway)

I have been sick with a cold since Saturday. I ate 3 pieces of candy, and within the hour I got a sore throat! I think my immune system is pretty good, but sugar lowers it I've heard. So, 4 days later I'm feeling better, but not all the way. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to work. I do have a substitute for some of my work on Friday if I need to take it off. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
