This weekend...To the village

We'll be going to the village after school gets out at 2:00. I am trying to get my internet and phone calls done today, as we won't have that in the village. At present we won't have running water (hot or cold) either. Our water system was damaged 2 years ago and no one has fixed it. This morning, I have hung up about 5 loads of laundry and taken more photos. If I have time, I will post them today. Next week Clemy and I will be at the village. She will continue her school work. Editing Photos

I spent a good part of the day editing photos. I bought Photoshop Lightroom for editing. I chose not to buy the newer version, to save money. If I ever want to upgrade I can do that later. I am still trying to figure out how to download (into lightroom) from my camera and edit. I also do not want to lose the originals and not sure how to do everything. Helping at the "deaf" school

That bad headache finally went away and I don't have one today! I got up earlier today and have helped some with laundry. Then, I washed 2 loads of our own clothes. The car is running fine. Greg is doing some re-modeling while we are gone. He's putting in a closet in our room and a cabinet in the bathroom. And... more new windows. He and Gideon put 2 new ones in before Christmas. Writing from Mexico...

We arrived in Mexico Saturday evening about 7 pm. We had to stop at a store to get food for breakfast, so ended up at our house in the village a little after dark. The neighbors have been staying in our house off and on and cleaned it before we arrived. It was a little sad being there without the whole family though. We stayed in the village until 1 pm on Sunday. Sunday drove to the deaf school in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. It is so warm here, it's unbelievable. I'd forgotten the perfect winter... Tense day

So far our travels have gone well. We landed at our friends on Wednesday. We used to live here in the summers, sometimes, and still have a horse-trailer parked with some storage still in it. We have had the trailer for sale for awhile, and finally someone wants to buy it. It was lower than what we really wanted, but realized it needs work, so decided to sell. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
