Freelancing work
Freelancing work I’m getting together a big site for writers to sell their work. It’s just a compiled page, but I’ll get it together over the next few days. If you’re interested just let us know and I’ll post it up. Some want a lot of money which you might have a job paying back, but many are simply free! Steve UK Sign in to see full entry.

I love it when a plan comes together
I love it when a plan comes together I’ve actually posted my copy to the bloody site! It sounds trivial but to me it’s a big deal. If you only knew how long I’ve been banging on to get that stuff up and where people can see it. Sure a lot of it is old stuff, turned around to make it look like I’ve written a huge amount, but its almost 8,000 words and I loved all of it. Not sure if it will help with the big Green question, but it shows I’m trying to do something about the shitting state I’m in.... Sign in to see full entry.

Ethics in making money
Ethics in making money In writing these pieces, something struck me. If this is the standard investment companies are setting themselves, then one day, this will be the standard the exchange will set for everyone. We no longer invest in slavery or the opium trade, and Interpol take a dim view of anyone trading in organised crime. What I want to do with my web site is to show that one day this standard will be stamped upon all companies. Green taxes will appear in the next few years. We already... Sign in to see full entry.

One of those days
Have you ever had one of those days when you start out with all good intentions and things just get bogged down? I’ve been trying to put some copy into my web site for days now, and nothing is happening. I start by staring at the screen and re-reading the old stuff, and that’s as far as it gets. I think I’m on the verge a real breakthrough here, but I just can’t get it together. What’s wrong with me? Certainly the days events don’t help, being held back by car journeys all over to do stuff, but... Sign in to see full entry.

Privatisation A Bloggers delight!
Privatisation A Bloggers delight! Listening to the radio this morning I heard some of Mr Blair’s ex spin doctors talking about how they tried to rationalise the civil service. Now many people might think that this is exactly what it needs. Never has there been such an ivory tower full of stuffed shirts in need od a shake up. But once you start unravelling the ball of string, some nasty things start happening. One thing Thatcher did, was to convince everyone that there was no more welfare state.... Better times ahead?
Things are not going too well, and if we don’t have a breakthrough in the next couple of months, I shall be forced back into another dead end job. Ebay has never paid the right amount of money for a living wage, and the novel has not had enough time to take off with the publishers. My only real hope is to write some none fiction stuff and get some money in. On a better note the Web site looks good, and I take heart at it come good. Steve. Sign in to see full entry.

Ebooks the sorry truth!!
I can only apologise for my curt remarks yesterday. The truth is I’ve tried selling an ebook a couple of years ago. It got no where as I never pushed it, and the publishers sure as hell never pushed it. But it was little better than soft porn, and my heart was not in it. Being of the Star Trek generation, I truly believe that some sort of hand held device would replace paper book in the future. So there will be nothing but ebooks one day. Writers who go on about it as a new evil, are stuck in... Sign in to see full entry.

Free Ebooks!! lots of Money!!!
One idea going around is to sell ebooks about how to…..well….sell ebooks! They are about good ideas on how to make money, and tell you the best way is to write a book on how you made so much money, selling ebooks. Sound familure? In the old days this used to be called pyramid selling. This was just a way of roping in so many mugs and bleeding them before they squealed. Don’t get me wrong, if I had the brass neck I would be there scamming with the best, but I’ve found subtler ways round it now.... Sign in to see full entry.

Ethical Investment
I'm drawn to the old idea I had about providing copy for web sites. Its easy, and you down't have to worry about the techy stuff. One of my side lines is ethical investment. Stay tuned. Steve. Sign in to see full entry.
