Note to myself

A lot of the time these blogs are just directed to me, to try and remind me to do things, and a general diary entry to tell me where I got up to, before the events of the day got in the way. I'm very interested in the Lucid dreaming and my guessing what the lottery numbers will be. If I had followed my pregame, I would have won1,500 on the Canadian lottery, as 4 of my dreamed numbers came up. I try and concentrate on the Irish lottery, as I'm beginning to get that. Advertising

Something has just struck me. Paying for advertising and getting people to watch the things are two different things. You can get you message to a huge amount of people. 50,000 for $100 a month, is a good market rate. and there are add exchanges which do an even better deal. although they are for MLM. But what if the thing you are offering is genuinely so interesting it might just put the hook in them? mention the supernatural, and people will turn their heads. Now, they may turn them to sneer,... New Laptop

This is being written on my new laptop. Completely wireless and twice the power of the old one. However, I think I have to keep the old one plugged into the mains via the broadband cable, because this is how the wireless can operate. No worries. I got this one to make some of my videos. First day of the Holiday! Well it's my first day on holiday, and I've done little if anything. Maybe that's what you are supposed to do? However I have so many plans and up till now none of them have been put into action. One thing is to get the web site going. I've decided that simply writing endless articles is a wast of time, as so few people are interested. Far better to make some modest videos and see if we can pull people in. Holiday!

Well finally I'm on holiday for a week! What will I do? Well, one of my more interesting projects is the making of videos. These a silly little self interest things. I don't know enough about site flipping to make a go of it just yet, but getting people interested in something I'm doing, sounds good to me. Drain!

My web projects have to come a halt because I feel them to be a total drain on me at the moment. Maybe work has dragged me down too much? But I can't get excited about them and have done little towards it. Maybe because I have bitten off a huge chunk to eat? but I think its more because I find it tough to see a return on this one. maybe in the future, long term, but for now I can't get excited. Plan going on course.

So far my web site plans are on track. There is no way I can write enough stuff to fill a large web site, so I will populate it with Ezine articles. I thought at first I would do something I'm reasonably interested in life UFO's the paranormal etc. that way I might not get side tracked and lose heart ( as I usually do). If this works, I want to build a site and flip it for cash. something on Eco building and such. Harmless and widely appealing. As for getting folks to loom at it, there are 3... Web sites! Bloody Websites!

After wrestling with my latest sites I've created a forum and a very advanced (too much for me) php MySql site with Go Daddy. I've been with 1&1 for years but they are always yesterday's men. Setting up a forum with Go daddy was so simple it's laughable. Plus they have a very advanced option which could mean anyone setting up an alternative site to this one in no time at all. Forums!

I have just made my own site with a forum to attract visitors. You can find it here: Tinwell This way I hope to get enough people to justify selling it to someone who wants to build it up. Other than that, I might make some money from it myself. There are only 2 things which sell web sites, interest and Traffic. I can provide the interest with so many quirky angles, like Sci-fi and UFO etc. The traffic has to come from people wanting to get in on it. And that comes through providing a forum,... Site Flippa!

Quick note to say that if anyone has any doubts about how much a modest website can make, take a look at the site flipping sites. Sitepoint ect. As long as you can get traffic to them and roll the counter over, you can sell it. Doesn't matter if it doesn't make any money, but it helps.
