Referral Links

I would like to throw around referral links like mad. NOT just to get bonuses, mind, but to keep up with writers that I want to force into joining -- therefore, getting even more money's worth from my own subscription to Blogit.

However, I want to offer a referral link to Blogit's main page (which is automatically generated for me), as well as a link NOT to one of my blogs, but to my little user-info page.

Seeing how the referral & links system works, I think it would have largely to do with simply adding on a partial address after the referral ID. Am I right? What would be the proper, err, format? :)

linking in emails

Is there a way to email someone a link from a particular post? When I copied
the link from my comments sections of a post, and pasted it into an outgoing email, it wasn't
linked like it typically is when I paste it into a post or comment here. What am I doing wrong?

thanks.

Purging my favorites

Blogit staff, is this a bug?  I cannot purge blogs that I no longer want on my favorites list.  The hyperlink is not even blue.  Can you please fix this?

Thank you so much!

Thanks, GomeDome...

That IS very helpful.  I just decided to plunge ahead anyway.  I can kind of see why this gets addicting.

Since you were so helpful, I have another question for you or anyone who has an opinion on the matter:

If you have works in progress, do you really feel comfortable putting them up here?!  And isn't anything we post here property of the website?  I have refrained from putting original work here that I actually hope to do something with down the road, because I'm really sensitive to the plagiarism issue, and because (it's been a while since I read the exhaustive agreement) I thought I read that everything here is property of Blogit.  What should I do?

Stupid question?

How do I put links in the RHS panel between my blogs?

Thanks

Do blogs last forever? (yeah, right)

I noticed on the homepage just now: 154,310 blogs. So how long before some of them ride off into the sunset? I went to Ariala's own personal profile page and was amazed to see only a few blogs on her page. I don't get it. Do you guys only hold blogs for a set number of days for viewing and then bury them (sorry for the funeral metaphor). After that, do you archive them? send them to our personal files to do with what we the bloggers will? what? And if 154, 310 blogs is the current number, is this the # actually accessible to viewers, who might look through literally every single category and then every blog within each category. Sorry, just trying to get a feel for what that number really is. A total number, with half the blogs in a cemetary somewhere in Blogitville, or a live and well number of pulsating Blogs currently orbiting in cyberspace. Thanks Laughlines

One Post=One Page, Yes? No?

This is a question I've just been wondering about lately. Does each post equal one page? The reason I'm asking is that I've read some really great political posts that are quite long, yet I don't see any "page" markers, just posting dates. Which leads me to wonder what is happening to these bloggers who are taking the time to develop some very cogent, thought-provoking arguments that may be, say, 4 pages in length, yet if it is submitted as a single post and thus is only being counted as one page, then that same blogger is only being paid for readership of one page. I'm sure this probably isn't really happening, because if it was it wouldn't be right, but what exactly is "page size" in Blogitville? Thanks in advance for answering. Laughlines

Rather strange that in Writing, the number one Blog has moved into first

place with an average of about five comments, while the number one previously was moved down getting an average of more than fifteen comments per day.  Would you explain how this is possible. The number one block is a list also, should be in lists.
