And, yes, if you renew your subscription then you can continue to keep your blogs as they are beyond the first year of your subscription.

Copying text from elsewhere, un-canceling subscription
Please read the Blogit help section on copying and pasting your writing from another application. You should be able to transfer any writing you've done offline on to your Blogit blog.
If you've signed up for an auto-renew annual subscription and you cancel it, it just means that the subscription will not renew automatically at the end of the one year. You will however continue to have access to your subscription until it expires a year later.
