One Post=One Page, Yes? No?

This is a question I've just been wondering about lately. Does each post equal one page? The reason I'm asking is that I've read some really great political posts that are quite long, yet I don't see any "page" markers, just posting dates. Which leads me to wonder what is happening to these bloggers who are taking the time to develop some very cogent, thought-provoking arguments that may be, say, 4 pages in length, yet if it is submitted as a single post and thus is only being counted as one page, then that same blogger is only being paid for readership of one page. I'm sure this probably isn't really happening, because if it was it wouldn't be right, but what exactly is "page size" in Blogitville? Thanks in advance for answering. Laughlines
