If you post the full URL it should work in any program that recognises URL's -- however, it might depend strongly on the program you're using. Some will recognise a link + text, some will convert a full URL into a link, and some just completely panick.
So, for the sake of clarity, what email program do you use, and do you possibly have it on a "plain text" mode? What all do you copy and paste? Does it work if you, say, send yourself a link in either the full-URL format or as linked text?
Maybe you will have to make the linked text style manually, or check your program's settings.

Should be able to!
Quirkyalone, yes, you should be able to email someone an excerpt from Blogit which includes a link. And for that link to continue to work.
I just tried it myself for a comment on the previous Community Help post and it worked! Are you sure you're including the whole link and not getting rid of the link by mistaken when you are copying and pasting it?
Maybe you can try it again and/or email it to us and let us know where you are copying it from so we can take a look at both.
Thanks,
Brian
