GOOD BONES

Maggie Smith, the poet - not the actress - has published a book of poetry titled "Good Bones." She's new to me. But I heard an interview with her on an NPR feature - probably on Sunday. LITERARY CRITICISM

We were lucky at Mossyrock High. We had an English teacher who was classically trained, who earned her Ph.D. at Oxford University. That's Oxford in England, I think it was London. Adams Printing Co. had a storefront in the middle of the 500 block of S. Broadway. It was a couple doors up from The Kentuckian, a workingman's bar. KID'S SHOW: ROMPER ROOM... FROM THE '60S
