It's Friday. Sun's out! Big moon last night.

I've been doing dreary editing of poetry written over the past few years. Putting them all in the same font, using the same format for titles. Caffe Avanti...

It's the name of a new restaurant in the neighborhood. They tell me it's Italian loosely translated and means "coffee first." Luscious baked goods, brownies as big as your hand, cookies the size of a salad plate. No, I didn't have one. Petty complaint about a big *!#ing deal...

The big deal is the Olympics. On NBC. Which re-scheduled my Soap "Days of Our Lives" to four a.m. Four a.m.! Who gets up at 0400 to watch ANYTHING, let alone a soap? I'm a bit sore and achy this morning.

Ultrasound and extra tight mammogram trays for the follow-up exam yesterday. I had the original exam last Wed., and the doctor who reads the x-rays wanted a second look at Lefty. You can tell a lot about a town by its kids' behavior...

A couple came into my little bookshop, ordered coffee and sat looking at a map of Mundane. They were looking to buy a house here.
