Clutter or not, here I come. All-ye, all-ye outs in free!

For more than a year now, I've had the flat lid from a big cardboard carton lying like a tray on top of my dryer. I beg to differ...

On Facebook a bit ago a "friend" mentioned that yesterday she attended a memorial for a friend who'd lived a long, full life. Based on the notice printed a couple days ago, I knew the guy she mentioned. I avoided going to that memorial. She clearly knew him as a colleague -- he was a history prof.,... Maybe it's just me, but...

On facebook this a.m. my granddaughter's hubby posted their two kid's Christmas wish lists. It was a URL to "Toys R Us." I've been wondering what they'd like. Journey to a poor place.

We're mourning in this neck of the woods, the death of 13-month-old Tyler Dasher, who apparently threw a screaming fit a couple nights ago and his mother hit him in the head.
