Of course I really was the 'Johnny' and mother sang that all the time which annoyed the hell out of Danny and Margaret, the 2 older kids closest in age to me. LOL Loved this post and sorry life was tough like that luv.

Yes instinct is activated early in these circumstances, one can't help feeling the position has gone too much the other way. Poor Mum, well I guess you you know how it felt.
Strange how these old songs are known so well around the world. I should not think anyone got the blue ribbon to tie up the bonny brown hair.
