I rang my son's dad the night we were divorced....I didn't attend the court
asked if we were now divorced and with the yes, shared a bottle of champagne with a girlfriend.
No real hard feelings, that marriage had died of exhaustion!

Well Pat I am not going to blame you because I know that terrible insane pull that can break hearts and ruin lives. Sadly we are programmed to procreate and only learn that too late.

What memories come to mind at certain times in our lives. I must admit that since my sons' dad passed away, it's easier to remember the good times and forget the not-so-pleasant ones.
