AUGUST; BIG BIRTHDAY MONTH

Mom’s birthday is today. She was born Aug. 8, 1906. My older sis was born Aug. 10, 1924, and bro Aug. 12, 1926. Mother lived to the age of 93, despite a cigarette habit that she gave up cold turkey at the age of 68. Her doctor told her she had a choice; she could smoke or she could breathe. There...
