As she aged, my mother's hands grew work-worn, the knuckles enlarged and some of the fingers twisted by arthritis. UPDATE ON ITCHY, ETC

It doesn't look like Itchy, White Ears, Mellie and Trubbles - not even Paladin - will be returning to the Backyard Empire in the near future.
