It was a hot, dry, windy 86 degrees here today- only 4 per cent humidity at one point. Freedom rings...

... now we are officially not homeowners- Yay!!! Our escrow closed this week, finally, and we have that awful responsibility behind us. Saying goodbye to an old friend...

Today I said goodbye to an old friend, gently placing him in a box. My 'friend' was one of those very cool coffee makers that also grind the beans. We were buddies for about three years. Pictures of our day...

Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills... we had a fun day today, a good beginning for 2007. Lunch was at Gladstone's in Malibu- a famous fish restaurant right on the ocean. A nephew to be proud of...

One of my nephews is a senior in high schoool and is just burning up the basketball court! He has been written up in the paper a number of times and this latest write-up included one of the greatest basketball photos I have ever seen. Am I too old for this????

I had another kick-ass pilates session today and am having to rest my three or four hours afterwards... again. This has me thinking, "Am I too old for this???!"
