One nice thing out of shambles

This past weekend we drove down to San Diego for nothing more than 'old times sake' and also to check up on the hawks. We sold our house last November and since then, the new owners have not moved in, have not done a thing around there... and everything was dead or dying! The house looked so... Next Interview- Wednesday

which will hopefully give me time to get rid of this yucky cold! I couldn't believe I caught another one so soon after my last one. Rode with the wind today...

... the road was calling me today. The warm springtime air, the green trees, the salty fog in the distance-- had me jumping on the Dragon for a long ride. Another email from one of my little Chinese American students...

I've been getting the cutest emails from my former students. Little Jon (not his real name) wrote something that was really poetic. Too many black suits in one room!

Today I went to a 'job fair' to interview with some pharmaceutical companies. Everyone had a black suit on (including me)!! It almost looked like a funeral and it was almost funny. It's 96 freakin' degrees here today!!!

I'm staying inside today (so far), preparing for my interviews this week. Outside, it is a nasty 96 degrees with 18 per cent humidity. Yipes!!! Waaaaaay too warm for March. Sorry I've been gone!

My computer is only partly to blame. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and I've found out that Toshiba has extended the warranty due to a class action suit so I can get it fixed asap.
