Lilacs... priceless

I had a wonderful visit with my mom yesterday- drove over to the desert to see her before she goes back to Minnesota for the summer. We had such a nice visit! We were the only wild animals around...

We never made it to the Wild Animal Park yesterday. The beaches in Orange County were just too beautiful! We rode the bikes to Laguna Beach for breakfast and then wound our way by all the Newport Beach sites, stopping along the way to sit on benches and watch boats and read. So relaxing! Later in... Wild animals in plain view!

Getting my body back!

Do any of you tend to live in your head, rather than in your body? It's an existential question of sorts... 4:30 am is starting to feel normal

My hybrid car is teaching me how to drive it...

Sorry I've been away... so much going on and I miss you guys! My hybrid car is teaching me how to drive it. It has a MPG meter that shows the mileage the car is getting depending on how I drive it. Help name nanaroo's new car!!! (cool photos!)

We always name our cars... this one is like a spaceship- it glides and seems to be almost other-worldly because of how it's powered. What a difference a day makes!

I signed the papers yesterday for the new job.... and, I got the car! It sure was a big day for me. The job starts May 8th but the fun in the car starts today.
