I travelled into London this morning and the train was more comfortable than I'd hoped for. However, I did doze off at one point and obviously moved slightly whilst asleep; this woke me up with a jump and I shouted out loud with the pain. I just remember a lot of fairly-scared looking people staring... Sign in to see full entry.

I put my back into it
I really put my back into work today; I was working from home as I'm travelling down to London tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday this week. I usually work in the office from Monday to Wednesday but we had a 'management meeting reprieve' today so I re-arranged things. All was going well with lots of... Sign in to see full entry.

We shopped!
Susan and I had a great day yesterday. Lakeside was less packed than we thought but offers all of the major shops we could have gone to in Cambridge or Norwich as well as a few others such as Primark. Primark offers clothes at mad prices and is always busy but, again, not as busy as I imagine it... Sign in to see full entry.

Page not Found
I've been building lots of content today, which has been fine - just tiring on the eyes. We're loading lots of new case studies for download from next March so lots to do. I may even log in to do some again on Christmas Day (well, I'll be on Blogit for sure!). When we were building the site, one... Sign in to see full entry.

Getting Better
Continuing yesterday's 'theme' I got to admit it's getting better! Thanks for everyone's kind comments - I'm sure they helped Still feeling sick and a bit shaky today but have been buried in work all day so what should I expect? Susan had a flu jab yesterday so her arm is as heavy as a hammer, which... Sign in to see full entry.

We all shine on
I spotted the moon through a crack in the clouds this morning and it reminded me of a John Lennon song - Instant Karma - which I wrote about in my Music and Lyrics blog earlier. I was travelling into Cambridge to catch the usual King's Cross train but had to go round the houses a bit as my usual... Sign in to see full entry.

Armistice Day
I walked across Green Park at lunchtime today to pick up a sandwich from Pret over on Piccadilly. It's a nice walk in the sunshine and only takes about fifteen minutes to get there from our office in Belgrave square. Today was especially beautiful with shaftes of sunlight providing beams of light... Sign in to see full entry.

Still with us
Wet and windy in London this morning after a very blustery night across Cambridgeshire! I'm feeling OK today though, after a good night's sleep, and concentrating on the positive. Had another grim 'management meeting' at which I presented some impressive web stats which nobody was impressed with at... Sign in to see full entry.

We lost the battle
Christian's team lost the game 0-5 this aftenoon and so they are out of this season's cup. The scoreline doesn't really reflect the play and Cherry Hinton battled really well but just had little bite up front and allowed the opposition - St Ives - too much room to put their moves together. Christian... Sign in to see full entry.
Football in the sunshine
We have a motorhome which has, unfortunately, been off the road for a few months becauseof a drain on the battery. The garage have now fixed an automatic switch that should conserve some of the battery power. This sounds as if I know what I'm talking about, doesn't it? In fact I know nothing of cars...
