A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

I've been posting so little here recently, and I'm always surprised at how long it's been since I last wrote. Work has been keeping me extremely busy, and every night when I come home I just want to collapse. Believe it or not, there's currently only one subway line up the east side of Manhattan, and EVERYONE uses it, it seems (they're planning on building another line that'll run under Second Ave, but we'll see how long that takes), so the commute is HELL. But on to the funny story. ...but sadly, not involving the Hot Editor. I've been so tired lately that I haven't really had time to get my life organized. But yesterday evening, and today, I cleaned and put things in order. I rearranged some of the furniture in my room, which makes the room look bigger. On Thursday night, I'd gone out and bought a shoe rack. I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I wrote last. Its just that recently I've been getting home from work and collapsing. So I just finished my first week at my new internship, and I'm absolutely loving it! The people there are wonderful, and they've kept be very, very busy. They're preparing for Book Expo America coming up in two weeks, and they're organizing the office in preparation for meetings that will be taking place during it. If you've been reading me, you'd know about this internship I'm beginning in Monday. I'd originally applied for the assistant position there. They really seemed to like me, but told me that I "don't have enough experience." Fair enough. After asking my prospective employers what I could do to get more experience, they offered me a summer internship in their office.
